We provide loans to Māori women and their whānau to enable and assist them to enter into and commence business and/or to expand and restructure their existing businesses.

For all new MWDI Business Loan Applications and enquiries, please contact us by email or phone 04 499 6504 to kōrero with our team. Below are our Loan Application documents (PDF’s), and a link to our online Start Your Own Business self-assessment App.

You must complete this Start Your Own Business (SYOB) self-assessment App prior to completing and submitting your loan application.  The assessment component contains a key part of the application process for a Māori Women’s Development Inc (MWDI) business loan. After you have completed and submitted your responses for analysis by MWDI staff, you will be assessed as a likely suitable applicant for more detailed consideration.

MWDI HineBoss

HineBoss is a 3-day business training programme. However, it has recently been modified to assist you in completing at least 80% of your business plan. The programme is best suited for smaller numbers in attendance, however, we are diligently working on an online training option, which we will release upon availability.
