This year’s event received over 100 entries, across eight regions: Te Tai Tokerau, Tāmaki Makaurau, Tainui, Waiariki, Te Tai Rāwhiti, Ikaroa, Aotea, Te Waipounamu and ten business excellence categories through various disciplines such as: Te Pou Whirinaki (Business Collaboration), Te Pōiketanga (Emerging Business), Te Whanaketanga (Employment & Growth), Te Auahatanga (Innovation), Te Amorangi (People & Capability), Pakihi Whai Ora (Social Enterprise), Te Whakatairanga & Tauhokohoko (Marketing & Sales), Pakihi Toi Ora (Creative Arts & Design), Te Ahumahi Hangarau (Technology industry), Te Kaweake (Export), Te Tohu Aorangi MWDI Māori Businesswoman of the Year 2023 Supreme Winner.
